What's going on with McCallum?

Great that Hodgson's back from injury but find it strange Davidson's starting ahead of him.

At what point to we start to worry that Carmichael might be done?

Surely he's not just getting dropped in favour of a Super 6 player. Late cover for the Scotland squad? He's barely played recently though.

I was just wondering the same about Macallum.Had though Rae would be prop emergency cover despite being on bench for Glasgow tonight but given Macallum not listed as injured presumably he'll be running out on Sunday in case of a late injury. Can't thimk of anyone else who could-apart from Rae.

Are we moving Bradbury to lock full time?

It is a bit strange that both are playing ahead of Hodgson (and maybe even Sykes).

I also think that Boyle should be playing ahead of Miller now too in these games.

I've no issue with where players are from but it's a bitter indictment on our player pathway that even with acknowledging Sutherland and Cherry being with Scotland and McInally injured of the six players picked as front row players none were born in Scotland nor came through our academy.

And beyond Gamble I'm not sure of any of coming through. Grahamslaw will hopefully come good but he's mainly been developed at Leicester.

McCallum is with the squad in Ireland on their Instagram story. Presume if he'd been kept for Scotland he'd be with Scotland.

Could be Cockers just doesn't fancy him at all?

Yay! We got into their half! Nearly a quarter of the game. Hope the wind is a bigger problem than it looks and we can kick on in second half.
Bill Mata. The second coming?

Exactly what I thought, we had issues with Connacht scrum last time too. Buckley is hard to get hold of.
