I don't understand that either.

If he is then there is a desperate need for a starting 13.Currie and Venter are too young for that role and sadly JJ is no more than good back up.

Lang is lining up at 13 for Harlequins against Ulster this weekend.

I've got a horrible feeling that he's coming in to replace Bennett rather than to augment our current batch of centres.

Pyrgos can play fast rugby when he is asked to and has done for Edinburgh. Shiel is faster and a greater running threat, but like Laidlaw before him, Pyrgos can play much faster than he is often given credit for.

Would be Johnstone who has been fairly good with Currie/Venter coming through.

Does leave us quite short at centre if Bennett is off. Where is he going does anyone know?

Actually, it'd be one-in, one-out, not taking into account Matt Gordon. We usually only have 5 centres.

With any luck my hunch is wrong! After all, I need to stress that it's only a hunch.

Murray McCallum in for Simon Berghan. Hope it's not too serious an injury for Berghan, but good to see McCallum get another run out.

Struggling with racings power but fair bit of decent stuff from us. Need to score next and keep in touch could see it easily run away from us.

Bit inconsistent in todays environment that hand offs are still ok but he is reaching behind with an open hand, may be different if it had ran into him and straight armed to face.

Getting bullied, cant compete with the power, then lack composure when we have ball and cough up loads of errors.

We ran some nice strike moves off first phase but our multi phase stuff remains SteveWalsh.

Watson and Ritchie very very good in a team on the back foot.

Graham is working his legs off this game, but we're nowhere near them over all. Mentally we look done, not that we're not trying, but playing loose because there's no chance at winning.

Shiel should chase back there at least to make the conversion slightly more challenging.
