Most Improved - Mesu Kunavula

Man of Steel for best defender - Jamie Hodgson

Ironman for best trainer - Eroni Sau

Best Newcomer - Marshall Sykes

Thursday

Young Player of the Season - Jamie Hodgson

The Caullie Lug - Luke Crosbie

Players' Player of the Season - Eroni Sau

P&P Player of the Season - Luke Crosbie

Sau signed for Provence in Pro D2

Picked up Players Player of the year award as well this season.

Mark Palmer says it was we just didn't offer him anything.

Not sure Crosbie has been the player of the season - he's been good but I think last year played better. I guess it shows how the season really hasn't been very good overall.

I doubt it was budget-related because he probably isn't a massive earner. I suspect that we may have some limitations about how many non-SQ players we can have and we had Immelman coming in to the back 3.

We don't know the timing of recruitment decisions either, Cockerill has hinted a lot of our recruitment is done quite early and Sau was much better this season than last it may be that the decision was made to look elsewhere based on last seasons form.

I also wonder if the club were more optimistic on retaining Duhan and committed budget there instead of offer to Sau who has then looked at alternatives.
