Can't remember when we last did a 6:2 split (possibly once under Cockerill?)
With Lang able to cover 10 makes it possible.Sounds a good idea against a huge Bulls pack .A chance rest Ritchie but still good bench cover and possibly Bradbury's extra bulk no harm in this match.

Decent first 40 we have been very physical thought rambo and Bradbury have carried and tackled well.

Lineout getting shredded bulls pinged once for coming through line not sure it should not have been more.

In general our attacking shape is pretty good few errors but taking points well.

Good win that, our physicality was really good it felt like a bruising match. Hopefully injuries not too bad.

Good shifts from our props wp in particular made an impact at the scrum.

Thought Bradbury and McInally had good games.

WP is a machine!

Still Scotland's best scrummager

Rambo's darts were out of kilter, Cherry was better, but everywhere else he was on fire. Bradbury should be Scotland's 8 on that form

Live could not tell if it was rambo throwing or just the bulls getting after the lineout, looked like they had a giant jumping at 2 that put pressure on every throw either competing or having to go over him.

Schoey clearly loved playing his former team would love to know what he said to bismark :)

Thought sheil had decent game for most part as well, not always with clean ball he did ok given the minutes he has had so far.

Edit: should add good atmosphere at the DAM again, good to have that wee run of games to get used to it. Not perfect but best we have had at ER I my opinion. Just need to make sure Darcy scores every match and get the can-can rocking the place.

Agree with Tichtheid on Bradbury-my man of the match easily.
Played some superb rugby despite the conditions.Given the physical opposition our best performance so far.
Worry now is the injuries to both VDW and Lang (who is laying very well.) Anyone have an idea what his injury was as not shown him going off?

VDW was playing well until he got thumped, all played pretty good, line out performance was mixed, think they were making it difficult for us as well as couple of beanpoles making the most of their throws. Encouraging night, even the rain didn’t dampen things too much, might be different with a gusting wind.

Yup, Jaco had a bit of a howler kicking to touch against Benetton, but he's been good apart from that.

We are always going to face beanpoles or good lineout operators, we really need to improve there. The scrum was really good, I just wish WP was 25.

Post match interview with MOTM Mata was fun with McInally translating the interviewee's Irish accent for him
