Pity so many injuries across the teams for such an important game. Ritchie, Mata, Mcinally, Moyano, Darge, Cummings, Fagerson all quality players that would likely start.

Think our squad looks slightly stronger despite the injuries.

Would like to see a big game from Vellacott v Price, our half backs not always the most controlled.

Crosbie v Wilson could be entertaining

Not much in it.

Glasgow gave one of their best performances of the season against us first time out, we really need to punc hour weight here. The success of the season now really rests on this, if we lose this then really for all the plaudits we havent really moved forward, if we win then there is tangible improvement and a springboard for next season.

Agree big game for the half backs, Kinhorn needs to put on the show to prove he is a top class performer, some of the rhetoric from Glasgow fans in particular has been very patronising towards him "not even a decent club 10" being a fairly common comment. Ive said before Im not the biggest fan of Tuipolotu and his defence was ruthlessly exposed by Leinster earlier in the season, we need to give Bennet opportunities to test him again, always looks more comfortable at 12 too.

Mclean vs Darcy could be fun too!

I might end up regretting saying this, but I don't think Ross Thompson has been in great form from what I've seen of him this season, so it is an opportunity for Kinghorn to put down a marker. Bit different when it comes to scrum half though, as much as I like Vellacott, Price is a real quality performer these days.

Well that was very enjoyable. Thought our season was ending in a disappointing whimper, but the team seems much more mentally strong than in the past, they played with confidence and calm determination. Champions rugby here we come :airborne:

Superb stuff. Thought Chris Dean might have got POTM but no complaints with Magnus getting it.

Super spirit and grit but my god BTMurrayfield isn't a patch on the DAM.

Decent win thought we looked much the better team, more aggressive, better drilled, more creative and just wanted it more.

Wilson and harley looked like they came with the intention of just stirring SteveWalsh rather than trying to play rugby givenwe got whistled out of last couple of games think we did well to keep our discipline.

Agree on Dean thought he played really well some lovely handling, bennett good, Bradbury carried hard, Schoeman and Nel put in big shifts and Darcy ran hard as usual.

Kinghorn far more creative than Thompson.

Overall good result without really being tested by a limited Glasgow side.

Edit: agree on the DAM, 24000 there but atmosphere miles better in the DAM

Loved Hodgson's celebrations, you could see how much it meant to him. And WP Nel's performance at 36, what a legend.

We played well and cruised to the win. The Weegies were very poor today, lacking in any penetration across the backline and their pack struggled to make an impression. I'm not sure Wilson is the man for the job over there?

We had a number of outstanding performers today - front row dominated, 2nd row carried well and were aggressive and back row worked hard with Bradbury carrying well all game. I thought our centres were excellent, both Dean and Bennet didn't miss a tackle and were a threat throughout the game. Back 3 were all over the park and tried hard to create breaks. Nel, Dean and Bradbury could all have won MotM but for me Bennet oozed class all game.

Wilson and Harley are now struggling, neither made an impression apart from niggles and foul play and both look they are a spent force tbh. Price tried hard but Thomson sat too deep and didnt look comfortable at 10, Miotti made a difference when he came on. We saw very little of their centres and back 3 although Smith still impresses me and will turn out a very good player. They were very lateral in their play and hardly made a line break worth talking about.

SA here we come!

Nel's dummyimg and over the head passing was amazing! What a guy.

Thought Crosbie was really back to his best.

Agree with the positive comments, our forwards we're good and aggressive, and gave us the platform to win the game. It was a solid win. If I was to be critical I'd say we kicked away too much possession with fairly aimless box kicks, and we butchered a couple of opportunities for the bonus point with poor passing. Didn't affect the outcome of this game, but against better opposition that sort of stuff will cost us.
