And a 20.05 KO. Looks like it could be a late night. :)
Looking forward to a nice Italian Holiday, with a rugby match thrown in.

Does anyone have an idea of numbers going over?
Do we get tickets via Edinburgh Rugby?

Hey All

My Girlfriend and I are all booked up for the Treviso Edinburgh game. Staying in Venice but traveling through for the game on the Friday, same day we fly in and then fly home again on the Monday.

We haven't booked the game tickets and just saw that they are now on sale and can be booked online. Was just wondering where the bulk of the Edinburgh fans will be sitting? Was hoping to try and get tickets in the same section.

Cheers

Hi Muz

At the moment there are at least 17 of us going out, Plus you and G/F, Plus we are arranging to meet with some Edinburgh Rugby Club Staff.

We are buying tickets for the Side Covered Stand and we will all be meeting up before the game.

Times and Hostelry to be arranged. :)

There are 4 of the party as far as I know also in Venice.

Travel from Treviso to Venice. there's a local bus (no. 9) leaving from the Monigo Stadium at 22:38 that can bring the group to the train station in about 15 minutes, then they can take the train to Venice (Venezia Santa Lucia) station at 23:25 arriving at 23:56.

Let me know if you want any further info or if you have info for us. (PM me)

Keep us updated; me and the wife are going to be in Venice for our honeymoon that weekend, so are hopefully going to be able to head up to Treviso on Friday night!

What's the travel like between Venice and Treviso?

Hi stef.s

By my calculation there will be at least ERC supporters on the Friday of the match.
I have contacted the Treviso Tourist Board and hope to have times of public travel for you in the next day or so.

It is about a 30 min journey by train between Venice and Treviso.

However!!!! Is it really wise, a Rugby Game on your honeymoon?

Still, you may as well start the way you intend to go on.

I will keep you posted as to what the plans are.

Second batch of tickets purchased. :D

Just some info if you know anyone who is intending purchasing tickets.
No matter how many are purchased there is a service fee of which varies depending on no. of tickets, but the postage is 19.49e no matter how many are purchased. So it is better if they can get a group purchase.
The max of any grouping is 10.

I will let everyone know when they arrive.

Hi folks,
I have been in touch with tourist office and the owner of the B/B we are staying at, re a good meeting point.

The owner of the B/B has spoken to a local bar owner who says that he would be more than happy to welcome us. The bar is about a 10 min walk from the stadium and is ideal for a “drink, conversation and light snacks.” :)

The bar is in “Via Galletto, Treviso” but I have not got its name yet. Will get back to you all on that.
Sounds good to me and I will check it out when I get there.
