The name of the bar is "Internet cafe da Bepi" Via Galletto, 34, 31100 Treviso TV. My host in Treviso says that we will enjoy it there. It is just over 1k to the stadium.

Any Suggestions as to when we meet up and then head off to the Stadium would be appreciated. :)

Really looking forward to this trip.

There is an Irish Pub at
Via Roma, 32
- Treviso - where " Celtic League Rugby Friends are Wellcome!" and "A few steps from the central station and close to the coach that will see the typical windows of a classic Irish pub " (Quote)

This is nearly 5k from the Stadium at the south side of Treviso.

I have also been told that nearly 70 ERC supporters are going over for the game. Could be a good party atmosphere.

Several have already indicated that they will meet up at cafe da Bepi a couple of hours before kick off. :)

Hi All,
I have been doing a little research re public transport to and from the Stadium.
For those traveling from Venice. Train Timetables.
http://www.venicetrevisoairportbed.com/ ... table.html
and return
http://www.venicetrevisoairportbed.com/ ... etable.htm

Local Bus route 9 takes you direct from the Railway Station area to the Stadium. This bus route is also in the vicinity of the Irish Pub in Via Roma.

For those who wish to go to cafe da Bepi prior to the game take Local Bus route 51, which also leaves in the vicinity of the railway station, and takes you to within 100mts of the café/bar.

Both journeys take about 15 mins.

Buses – route 9 - after the match leave the stadium area at
22:00hrs, 22:38hrs and take about 15 mins to Railway Station.
Last Train to Venice 23:35hrs arrive Venice 23:56 (Venezia Santa Lucia)
(Other departures to Venice 22:32hrs, 22:56hrs)
If anyone needs any more info please let me know.
Hope we have an Italian win on Friday. The team has a settled look to it, and a good bench.

Whilst doing some research for our holiday (which includes a week in Venice and travelling to Treviso for the match!) we came across info on a proposed general strike for transport on May 6th. Forwarned is forarmed apparently so here is a website with some information about the current state of affairs. Of course it could be much worse by then - or all called off completely!

Change in schedule (again) means we can make the match now (subject to negotiations with the Missus).

If we do go, I plan to order tickets for collection and will be doing a round trip from Venice that evening; trains look cheap, quick and regular so that's good.

Is the stadium walkable from the station or will we need a bus?

The stadium is about 4k from the railway station.

See above re buses and meeting place if you wish.

There are numerous ERC fans travelling from Venice for the game.

Hope to see you there. :)
