Ulster Away Trip

Postby dunna on Thu Nov 17, 2011 11:12 pm

Was wondering if anyone had any advice on this trip, hotels in Belfast? Also the date of the match, I see from the fixture list its still down as 2/3/4 of March, just wondering if anyone is aware of when the date for the match is confirmed, just to make life easier for confirming flight dates and times. Thanks for any advice.

The odyessy is decent for food and drink with several bars and restaurants under one roof and maybe a 30 minute walk from Ravenhill. If I remember my geography correctly the city centre may be slightly closer though.

Can't advise on hotels I'm afraid.

have been over on many occasions and always stay at The Hilton. Great hotel, easy to get to...easy to get to Ravenhill.

Thanks for the help guys. Looking at the hotels now, just waiting for RaboDirect Pro12 to confirm the date of the match so everything can get booked up

As an exile in Belfast id say not to waste your time going to the Odyssey, plenty if good eating places on the ormeau road which is pretty close, and much better food! Loads of good bars there too, and just along the road on the lisburn road. I'll be at the game in march, send mr a pm nearer the time and is happily show some folk of a similar rugby inclination about for the night.
