Racing Metro

Postby Andrew on Sat Dec 03, 2011 12:14 pm

Hi Folks,

Thinking about taking my dad to the Racing gamein Jan but have to say i'm pretty clueless as to how you go about tickets (can you get them from Edinburgh?). Does/has anyone thought about heading over and if so could you pass any info regarding the trip?

Many thanks.

ERC rules stipulate the away team must get am allocation. Best bet may be to leave your details with the ticket centre who will probably get it touch with you when they arrive

No worries, The only other comment I would make is apparently Colombes isn't the best area to hang about in so particularly if its an evening game its a go to the ground and go back and not a place to test out the pubs

Called ticket centre yesterday about getting tickets for this and they said that they'd be getting their allocation within a week or so and therefore to call again after that. Doesn't seem to be much on here about others going to this yet. Does anyone know how likely we are to have a mini army going? Not talking about army of supporters at the game, just safety in numbers for roaming the unsafe area....

Colombes isn't on the metro.

Easiest way to get there is train from Saint-Lazare Station in Central Paris to either Colombes or Stade stations, which takes about 15 mins. The latter is probably closer and about a 15 minute walk.

Where is everyone planning to sit? Would be good to get a few of us close together to make some noise.

I got a ticket in this section: NOUVELLE TRIBUNE INTER 10/11.

What about a place to meet up before the game?

Got some train times;
Take the train from Gare Saint-Lazare towards Ermoent Eaubonne. Trains leave every 10 mins at x7 and the journey takes 14 mins. For the return, trains leave Le Stade at 22h46, 23h01, 23h31 and 00h01 back to Gare Saint-Lazare.

Info from Android app - search SNCF Transilien.

Cheers,
Delight.
