Buses run from the train station out to the Madjeski. From what I remember from the last time I was down (don't take it as gospel, it's a bit hazy) it was a pretty good service on the way out, but took a bit longer to get on a bus on the way back

We're flying to Heathrow first thing Sunday morning, then there's a direct bus to Reading from the airport.

Travelodge in Reading

On the way back, train via London.

Tickets in Y26 £20 unreserved seating

all in about £150, which is pretty good.

We are flying to Gatwick with Easyjet. There's a direct train once an hour from Gatwick Airport to Reading.

Getting a train to Reading is fairly straightforward - Edinburgh to King's Cross, then Paddington to Reading. make sure to leave plenty of time to get from KC to Paddington (3/4 hour minimum).

and book it through East Coast's website if there's three or more of you as you'll get a cheaper price on their group deal.

First journey we could see on the Sunday didn't get to Reading until four o'clock though, which is why we're flying down.

Tickets now up for sale on Edinburgh site - as I said we bought in the unreserved section y26. Unreserved is good as it let's us congregate a bit.

It's in the corner of the ground, but to be honest you move one section along for an extra eight quid and everywhere else in the ground is thirty two. Basically the £28 tickets are on the five metre line.

Yep Section Y26 is the better option as you said. Everyone get together and get some noise going!

Booked two tickets in Y26 via London Irish ticket site. Looking forward to a rare away match. Been to Dublin a couple of times but always seem to be in amongst the home support.

That's us booked up for section Y26 too. Got ticket numbers 815 to 817. Would like to think that's how many Edinburgh have sold, but I doubt it.
