swear words

Postby devils advocate on Sun Feb 28, 2010 5:00 pm

I'm really rather interested, especially in the light of yesterday's performance, to see what words are so bad that they have to be substited by "GeorgeClancey" and "DonalCourtney".

Is there a list somewhere?

I'm glad someone else is as Un-knowledgeable as me. Perhaps some of those seasoned supporters can help.

I'd be happy to, but unfortunately the definitions would be censored out so you would be none the wiser.

Oh I don't know. If you spell as badly as me, I'm sure it would escape the censorship, and be understandable.

On the other hand if I knew what I'd originally typed, I could read the answer on the forum, so its like an online translator. (I'd send you a list, country cousin, but you might get offended by an email containing nothing but expletives!)

So here goes:

DavePearson
NigelWilliams
DonalCourtney
DonalCourtney
TonySpreadbury
hell
GeorgeClancy
MariusJonker
fat DonalCourtney
CraigJoubert
NigelWilliams

Ooh, now that I've seen, I quite agree with the George Clancy one! I'm also surprised I didn't get Alan Lewis come up. It's going to bother me all day as to what that one is.

Edited to add: I thoght that I might have found Alan Lewis, but it was Craig Joubert instead.

Must do something about the MattGoddard

Just a reminder that there are 'young' people out there who read & post on the forum.

That's why we have to have the word censoring

It was for a while - (WINDY!!!)

This can be reinstated at any time, but all references would need to be as Dan Parks 'cos the censorship function can't discriminate too well

We had issues when someone posted Stradey Park & it came back with Stradey Windy!!!

Don't worry, CG, I did the preview of my post to ensure that nothing too risque came up. Cerainly nothing that would cause my mother to "skelp ma lugs". (She isn't a resident of Morningside, but shares a number of attitudes with the ladies there.)
