Hi guys

Thought you might be interested in this year's St Andrew's Day fundraising dinner at The Royal Scots Club.

Andy Irvine, former president of the SRU and record-breaking cyclist Mark Beaumont will be guest speakers at the black-tie event. All proceeds from the night will go to ABF, The Soldiers' Charity.

The Soldiers’ Charity gives lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. Soldiers risk so much for us, but for them, it’s just doing their job. In return, the charity provides financial assistance when they are in real need.

The Soldiers Charity has seen a 30% rise over the past two years in applications from soldiers who have taken part in previous and current conflicts and we currently raise £7 million a year to meet this need. As a result of Current Operations it is anticipated that the requests for assistance will rise significantly in the coming years.

Tickets cost £55 each / £500 for a table of ten and can be booked by calling 0131 556 4270. The night starts with a drinks reception at 7.30pm and the Club is on Abercromby Place in Edinburgh.
