Denton out for the season :

No mention of the RWC, but "next season" would appear to rule him out of Japan. That's virtually a full year out, so clearly extremely serious

Bad news on Denton, but it's better that these injuries are taken seriously now.

CDP will play on Saturday

Cant link it, but there is a good interview by Mark Palmer with Alex Dunbar.

Basically saying he has had injury issues, but when he was fit Rennie didnt fancy him and it was clear he wasnt getting picked no matter what.

Sad end to his Glasgow career, then he tore a muscle when he arrived at Newcastle. Hopefully he can get a few games and some form over the last games of the season.

Good for Sammy. Really needs to get a good contract and some game time next year or he is I need danger of never fulfil.ing his potential.

On another point, what is up with Saracens fans? Only 16k at a semi final and I've half of them were from Munster. They are a London club, with big names who win stuff, by all accounts interact with the community well and have a supporters club who are exceptional at adding to the match day experience (haven't been but Weegies love it and rave about it) and still they can't get a decent crowd out?

I know it was in Coventry, but still would expect more from any other team really. Also why Coventry? There are a huge number of stadiums in London they could have played in one of them surely?

Sarries opted for Ricoh as a neutral venue
Could have played at any London stadium

I know, but why?

And its not as if it is that far anyway from London, would still expect them to take bigger numbers that that. We probably took as many to the Stoop as they did today (rumoured to be 4k Sarries fans) and that was when we were playing poorly and our support is tiny really. It just doesnt make sense, even a team which is "bought" shoud have a better support given the success they have had and the work they put in.

I can only imagine it was a financial/availability decision. Probably much easier and cheaper to stage a major event at Easter in Coventry rather than London.

It's a highlights reel, so perhaps not an accurate reflection, but he does look handy here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XTgS8x ... e=youtu.be

He's certainly got a set of wheels on him that's for sure!
