For now I want to see McCallum and Shiel start every game, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by selecting them

We got battered for last 20 of the first half, after that Munster haven't had the easy territory from scrums and other penalties so we've been able to avoid the pick and goes near the line.

Agree on McCallum and Shiel, Berghs is off, Nel is a great bench player, Atalifo is a stop-gap. Pyrgos and Groom have been seriously poor this season, so why not with Shiel. He has had some brain farts, like the offload this game, but it's not like the other 2 haven't had 10x as many in the games so far.

He should get more time ... But equally he does silly things and it's just infuriating. So I kind of get why Cockers isn't starting him because every mistake kills our champions cup narrow route.

Pyrgos and Groom make far more errors, and neither offer what he does in attack

And Chamberlain. JvdW is absolutely jamesmatthew. He couldn't get the all blacks backline moving.

You know, they tried at least. Our attack wasn't going anywhere, but they didn't give up

What's frustrating is you didn't think the forwards would score with their pick and goes but equally you knew if they passed it to the backs they wouldn't score either.

We couldn't be more toothless.

So who was stretchered off at the end? clearly not Venter as commentator suggested. (Possibly Davidson?)

Yes Davidson. Hope he's alright. Neck caught on the wrong side and took the full impact of the ball carriers hip.

Nonsense, it’s exactly what they didn’t do , what evidence do you put up for that . Go back over the reels of Edinburgh vs Glasgow , Sale , Bordeaux etc where smart use of backs after 3/4 drives produced the goods . Really one dimensional , pedantic forward thinking not helped by an indecisive 10 .

Edinburgh Vs Glasgow when we did diddly squat until they gave us a try?

Sale was the only half decent performance I can remember all year. Been durge week in week out for a while. The only Pro14 team we've outscored this year is Zebre. Not good enough!

Focus criticism on the way we play which starts with coaching and . game template We used to play Mata one out on pick up where he could find space , our pick snd drive management is inconsistent and our 10’s positioning and dictating of play looks erratic . Coaching can fix much of tgat . Really talented promising players are looking ordinary . Crosbie , Bradbury , Haining , VDW, Bennet .Dean , Hoyland . Refresh on coaching environment required .

Just watched replay of our try . Lineout drive , one drive at line. Then out to Dean who picks a line and draws Allende Allende and Farrell creates momentum and Gap for Pyros and Mata on split second recycle Mata goes over. Premier commentator calls penalty. ., totally missed the move snd touch down. Best move of our play .
