Excellent performance ! Team Worked their way through early issues in first 20 with robust confrontation of Dragon threat before finding Rhythm and fast tempo. Everyone performed well and Kinghorn shifted the gears a notch when he came on . Mata full of energy and looked like getting back to his best levels . Agree on Dean who was fantastic with his huge work rate and leading to so many of the better phases of attack and defence . Paterson’s thinking in commentary on choice of MOTM overlooked Dean and Kinghorn which surprised me although Darcy’s second try was sensational his first first try was a sharply executed team try off a driving maul .
The squad looks really cohesive and to a man enjoying themselves . South Africa will be a bigger test for sure but I would not be surprised to see them return with at worst a bonus point loss and a narrow win . Odds? ?

According to the club's social media feed, the flight has already departed.

After a tight 20mins we were in complete control and should have scored more points, others will against a poor Dragons team. However we looked pretty good once we sped things up a little. Good to see we have continued with form of last season and there is going to be plenty of competition for places as things progress which is no bad thing. With full squad we have at least 2 classy performers in every position. Blair seems to be taking us in the right direction.
