Really interesting article and interview. He is certainly saying all the right things, particularly about the balance between playing attacking rugby, but not being gung ho and leaking tries. I hadnt realised how bad our kicking was, I thought Boff was very good and Kinghorn improved a lot. Does anyone know what the stats were for our individual kickers last year? Healy should help here.

He is again certainly saying the right things about bringing through youngsters, but every coach says that but it is harder to do.

Lineout and turnovers sound like where he is looking to improve. With the players we have these should not be weaknesses, but there is obviously a problem.

As an aside, speaking to a few Munster supporters in Paris, they rate Healy but said his defence was very poor. They were mixed on how good he is, they weren't happy to lose him but didn't think he would have got many caps for Ireland or even be good enough for Munster. Plenty of examples of that type of player coming good though so hopefully he will kick on.

Think we got Healy because wanted him in the Scotland pool, definitely useful if rugby went to American football style kicking specialists, not so sure about the rest of his skills.
