BP by ht but making hard work of numerical advantage.

Castre slowing everything but we need to be playing more sensibly

Tough viewing, did not get going second half

Appreciate it was windy but don't think we played conditions or numerical advantage well too many wild offloadsnot enough draw and pass.

Good to get the BP win but need to be much more composed

Kicking into the wind wasn’t good, Adam Jones no control at constant scrum resets slowed the game down but we should have done better against 14/13. Line outs poor but against tall opposition, win with 5 points is good though.

A good win and maybe rode our luck a bit with numerical advantage when we tried to force things rather than keep it tidy and tight in the wind. Thought Watson was MOM and looking back to his best .

Granted the wind was behind Castres in the second-half, but that notwithstanding it was a still a frustrating watch on the whole.

Great to see Darcy back, although he looked a little rusty and didn't get much opportunity with ball in hand. Hamish Watson looked in very good form, timing his run well for the Six Nations.

Kudos to the group by the tunnel who got some singing going with a drum and other instruments... would be great if this persists and more and more folks join in. That call-and-response victory song from the changing room videos will hopefully become a regularly-heard thing in the stands too!

That was a very good win against a Castres side sitting in top 3 in the league and had come to win the game. They were desperate to take something from the game and were very disappointed with the result, even allowing for the red card. Conditions were difficult making kicking and line outs hard for both teams and handling was affected. We looked good going through phases and I liked it that we stuck to game plan even thought we cocked up a move to give them their first try. Our scrum was just immense and Schoo has developed into a real destructive LH. I felt sorry for Paterson having to go off after what was clearly a red card, I think this was a game just made for him to show us what he could do, hopefully he will be back soon. All in all an excellent result and team will be happy plus we are seeing the team developing and getting better.

Best result of the weekend so far was Scarlets getting humped by the Black Lions!

A win worth celebrating for sure and we still have Boffelli and Graham to return to the staring line up . We scored our best tries when they were down to 13 men so unlikely to get the the same line space vs Gloucester or Glasgow but the guys can be pleased with that and work with the confidence that builds. Watched tape this morning and Watson in particular was terrific ! Don’t understand why he didn’t get MOM but Currie did his try superbly and worked hard in defence. Looks like a track athlete in full flight.
