Good to have Boffelli back.

Strong first xv, all games pretty much must win now, but bit wary of Cardiff, need 80mins of second half edinburgh from Scarlets match.

A 5 pointer game, so tight in mid table no team can afford to slip up, we need 100% concentration and effort.

Its the usual for Edinburgh...team listing looks extremely strong-about 18 internationals in the 23...and yet somehow the sum of the parts isn't nearly as good as the whole.
Lets hope for more of the 2nd half v Scarlets. Vital to win, particularly after that Ulster/Benetton result last night with Ulster getting a four try BP but Benetton still getting two points in defeat.

Can we win the scrum and go end to end?

Very nearly did! i thought once Vellacott made the halfway line that Duhan would be clear but Cardiff did well to track back and mark him.Pity as we had so much possession in the 2nd half so plenty of chances to get the BP.
Having said that onc Duhan was yellow carded and Cardiff scored off the lineout I'd have taken any win.Oddly that was the turning point as we handled the yellow card period very well and domininated once Duhan was back on.

Much better overall performance but another BP missed.

3bps all season is really poor, if we were on par with those roundabout we would be top5.

Main positive is our overall performance has improved and a decent away win but still with headroom to be much better.

Missed BP, but at least we looked like we knew they existed and attacked with a bit of venom. We still huff and puff a bit to get over the line. Cardiff are ok, but not great, we should have got the 4th, although as mntioned previouly when down to 14 and they scored I would have taken any win.

I thought the backs looked much better, Healy had some ropey long passes, but he was at least seeing the chance and going for it. It did look like a bit more invention too and wingers more involved. Hopefully this continues.
