Its not a criticism of Dean, but he is just not a winger, he was struggling with positioning for most of the game, in defence and attack.

The point on Dobie is that there is Ross McCann around not playing and both Glasgow and Edinburgh are playing players out of position when he could have had a game and probably done a better job.

Agree he is no winger but he did a good job defensively and maybe he was exposed a bit by the lack of true attack lines. Nathan Sweeney was on the bench returning from injure and he is a more schooled back 3 player but suspect Dean was kept on for defence.
