Poor performance with silly mistakes/penalties at crucial times. The drop off in intensity and skills set in this game compared to previous couple of games was huge and the team and coaching staff have to put their hands up! Cant see us getting into the top half of the table now, we had many number of chances to have made it comfortably but failed miserably when the pressure was on. Cant see Everitt hanging around for next season after this one!

Yes very poor. But good to see some of the youngsters stepping up-Harrison,Paterson and Brown were all very good ,plus Scott's important cameo at the end. Just a pity Freddy Douglas only got 7 minutes though.
Be good if we could get a handful bsack from injury for next Saturday-Vellacott, Sykes,Sebastien or Hill and Goosen would help.

I follow many sports but Edinburgh Rugby are the most frustrating by far. New ground, new coach and many new fans but same old inconsistent Edinburgh. No one seems to be able to get to grips with the inconsistency issues and as a result we have a load of great players who make up a team that is way less than the sum of its parts. not convinced that Everitt can fix it but then again neither could the last half a dozen head coaches

Mixed bag or results for us this weekend. We still have a decent last two games connacht away, ulster home to make top 8, biggest thing is our performances. We could take 10 points or no points depending on which ER team shows up...so frustrating

I was overseas so didn't see the game. It was very frustrating watching the results coming through on Twitter. However, Zebre are a vastly improving side and have taken some impressive scalps this season. A draw wasn't the worst result even if the performance wasn't there. I gave up on the league after the away game at Hampden. While we're capable of beating Connacht, we might be up against it from a side whose season crumbled even more than ours have. Think we'll give Ulster a good doing but we'll probably miss out on a top 8 by a point or two. I think we can beat Bath though, the English top league is relatively poor this season, combined with home advantage and artificial turf we should see them off. Once in the final anything is possible and would be great if could make next season's Champions Cup via that route.

relatively poor compared to what?
Have you seen Bath play?
Of course they can be beaten, but it would take Edinburgh at their very best and Bath a total off day. I can't see it myself

Which Edinburgh turns up is a complete mystery and we will only find out on the day. However I find it more difficult to judge the English teams performances this season. Some of their performances have been absolutely miserable and they have been totally outclassed by URC and French teams yet Northampton have been excellent. My feeling is, based on what I have seen of the league and euro games, that the English league is probably the weakest of the three with some real horror shows in the likes of Exeter, Newcastle etc but some of the top teams have the potential to be very good. I don't think we should go in being overawed or scared of the Bath team but we will need to front up in the pack and avoid the usual AlainRolland ups in the backs. If we had Finn at 10 we would win easily!

I agree the EP looks the weakest right now, altho not much to choose between Newcastle, Exeter and Dragons TBH.
And that excellent (they are) Northampton is struggling to make the play-offs. Bath are a cut above the rest IMHO

Bath are in the challenge cup as they did LawrenceBryce all in the champions cup. They were beaten by benetton and la rochelle...we could lose both or win both of those matches.

it very much depends on what edinburgh are fit (bit worried about our injury list) and what attitude they turn up with. How much focus Bath give the challenge cup v league run in could play a part as well if they rest Russell for example.
