Glad we went up to Galway on the saturday to watch Connacht. Sshh, but Dan the Man was sharp! He controlled a lot of the game unlike our lot. One example from young Hunter just before half time. He gets a penalty and then kicks INTO the wind and does not make touch. The wind had been blowing diagonally across the pitch all afternoon and was increasing in strength. If he'd kicked to the righthand touchline the wind would have taken the ball easily into touch. Then I suppose Ross would have handed Munster the ball back.
I would like to remind Mr Bradley and Mr Back that I am not really a fan of Leicester. That's four games on the trot where the forwards have bashed their way up the middle and have got nowhere. IT IS NOT WORKING!!!
We have decent backs please get them into the game and I don't mean by making tackles after we've kicked the ball away for the umpteenth time.
On the way back into town at least we lost count on how many Munster supporters said that they were looking for the Edinburgh of last season to turn up and that they were disappointed. They weren't the only ones.
The tactics/game plan just seem to be adding to the injury list, Atiga off first half , Geoff off at half time, Hunter a sore one to the head, Netani not too good either. Geoff didn't even make it onto the plane on sunday, hope they all recover quickly.
Winston Churchill said that going to sea was like going to prison but with a chance of drowning!

It's been a bit quiet from ER in general!

Although they're never very good with providing injury updates, unlike a lot of other teams

I was thinking that ER have been very quiet lately as well!

According to this planet rugby article, Talei has been ruled out of Fiji's November tour with a knee injury, so I'd assume he won't be available for us either!
Any idea about Steven Lawrie as well? I'm sure that Titterell doesn't have long left on his deal with us.

From the Medical Update its looks as if we will be extremely light in the coming weeks for backrow cover with N.Talei & D.Basiliaia both injured and S.McInally, D.Denton & R.Rennie away.

So we have Grant, Watson and at a stretch Cox for the backrow. Which then only leaves us with Gilchrist, IvdW and eventually Turnbull as locks.

Time for some emergency signings?

Doubt we'll be without McInally and Denton so could end up with forwards of:
Yapp
Titteral
Nel
New Guy fromSA
Gilchrist
Cox
McInally / Denton
Grant

This depends on Gray and Hamilton recovering from injury and along with Kellock, all being ahead of Gilchrist.
It doesn't inspire me though.
