Was only a matter of time that he changed roles with John Mitchell coming in.

Would the SRU be mad enough to go for him?

Doesn't look good for him they way Gloucester are playing either.

Technically correct hp18 but I suspect he will more likely have been watching Jeremy Kyle instead of training today!

I just wish our CEO's had the balls to sack our underperforming coaching set up.

Unfortunately Doherty has yet to prove he has enough about him to tell his a•se from his elbow as most of his achievements on a business front could be credited to his predecessor Nic Cartwright. Meanwhile Dodson is too busy trying to justify his loosening of the purse strings at Edinburgh and figuring out ways of scraping that apparently wasted money back by selling the naming rights to Murrayfield.

Not sacked after all. Appointed Head Coach in a "sideways move" and the Chief Exec is going to run the team from now on. Redpath will see out his four year contract and is apparently "very positive about the situation". :?

In fairness, though he hasn't done well and the improvement at Glous is not a good sign, I would not want to work under Steve diamond. He would be hard work and never stop sticking his oar in.
Dean Richards might have been a shout as DOR to stand up to him as confident Basil wouldn't. Might work out with basil just coaching, not convinced, even with evidence he is a bad coach. Beech was a good coach and terrible DOR.
