Few released for scarlets match per cockerill on the BBC

"WP Nel, Gilchrist, Nick Haining, Luke Crosbie and Matt Scott are all back to play for us and that gives us a real boost."

No mention of Henry Pyrgos being released, dare we hope for an appearance by Chico the Barber?

Schoey, Willemse, McCallum, Gilcho, Carmichael, Barclay, Crosbie, Mata

Groom, vdW, vdM, Scott, Bennett, Farndale, Hoyland

Bhatti, Cherry, ? , Fraz, Haining, Shiel, Dean/JJ, Hickey

And Taylor ahead of Dean/JJ on the bench?

Would be surprised if we didn't get Pyrgos back. Not sure about the rest, Toolis and Berghan likely to be on the bench again, although neither has had many minutes.

Does it suggest Gicho wont be replacing Jonny? and Haining wont be back in? Sounds like Skinner is going to come into the reckoning, Taylor might too now that the Saracens fixture issues aren't holding him back from training.

Another one I missed and a player I'd love to see a lot more of in an Edinburgh jersey, this is just the sort of period he was brought in for.

Going to be horrible, horrible weather for this one. Cockers is likely going to pick the biggest possible side and kick the leather off it. Who can blame him either.

Wonder if it'll maybe even be postponed.

Aye, “Dennis” is an oddly innocuous-sounding name for a storm that is likely to cause major disruption.

If the game goes ahead I expect a very similar team to the one I guessed, plus the additions suggested. For a start we don’t really have many other options and second, it’s a pretty big side.

Groom will likely do the full 80, though he has been charged down far too often for my liking. I get the feeling that Hickey has a better kicking game from hand than Jaco, though vdW is very accurate from the tee.

I don't like grooms box kick technique he pops the ball up slightly rather than dropping it on to the foot so more open to a charge down.

Henry P is in the photographs of this week’s training, and I’m pretty sure Ceccerelli is too, but you can only see half his heid.

I’m probably going to kick myself for asking, but who is the player in the yellow vest in the shot between Mark Bennett and Jaco vdW?

The blonde kid's Matt Smith and the big lad must be the guy on loan from Exeter?

I'd like to see Hickey at 10 and Jack at 15 for this game as I think that gives us the strongest possible kicking game. Much as I like Hoyland I don't think the conditions are going to suit him.
