It's not just Scott though, the whole team is doing poorly. Not having Scott doesn't explain why discipline and decision making 1-15 have been shocking.

Take that little break by Bradbury near the end, absolutely no one nearby to take the offload and what could have been a great breakout is instead a 5m gain. The whole team looks switched off

The game plan is honking.

Players look over drilled and not expecting a break because it should have been kicked.

Comms tonight criticising duhan for not looking for work enough, why the LawrenceBryce would he when he knows it is getting kicked within three phases.

Good try by Bennett. Bradbury is quietly having a fairly solid game, his support turned that Watson carry into a big gain

Thank goodness, we had gone so far back at the end we'd ended up pretty much right where they'd kicked their last penalty, I was certain we were going to give away another last minute penalty to lose.

The main thing from what I saw today was discipline, we were on the right side of the penalty count and that helped us grind out the win, it was also obvious how simply getting back in the game lifted the team's spirits, things like Crosbie sprinting out a couple of times when he came on to make the tackle a few metres behind the gain line.

Still very poor ball in hand, but if the team gets a good chunk of self-belief back then at least we can stop the bleeding for this season.

Good stuff Martin.

I thought Bradbury had a good game, Rambo was looking good too, Big Bill looked off the pace for the second week in a row, but maybe a few games is what he needs. He is of course a world class talent.

I do wonder what we are trying to do in attack, there is very little fluency or great lines being run, it's mostly about individual bits of exceptional play - Dean's quick hands tonight got us the score, it's often about one or more of the back three doing something off the cuff.
