Hopefully a better match this week, if Gilchrist is back hopefully he can help in lineout.

Unlikely but would like to see a few changes think Mata is off the pace maybe a chance for Bradbury, Haining, Miller to come in?

Thought Groom looked a little sharper than Pyrgos although would have concerns around his box kicking getting charged down with Richie Gs reach.

Maybe if we kick less and get the ball to the backs in hand we might have a better game?

I really hope to see young Ross Thompson have an absolute stormer. In a losing cause obviously but Ritchie and Watson will no doubt be kicking their lips and testing the offside line to put him under pressure and no doubt Bill will be looking to test his defence too.

Our side looks strong and pleased to see Blain back and Hodgson still in the 23.

That game plan will never work! :)

Even just taking 3 at the first opportunity, either team, rather than kick to corner or scrum every pen changes the mindset of both sides. The longer it stayed at 0-0 it felt the teams got more and more conservative fearing the crucial mistake.

Losing Duhan and Darcy is huge. both in terms of what they offer but also the style we will try to play. If we wont go wide with them in the team then we are unlikely to do so without them.

The one thing where it may help is Sau is not as good at chasing he high ball, so not a great tactic, Groom will also look to play a bit faster too. Hopefully we can dominate in the forwards again, I would take 3-0 to be honest.

I think a certain amount of kicking is inevitable with the breakdown interpretations this season but we definitely need to play with a bit more tempo.

While we don't have our problems to seek in getting speed into the game, getting tempo was really difficult last week with, either, the ref being really quick on the whistle and not waiting to see if there was any advantage or the amount of SteveWalsh that went on at the breakdown.

Wilson could have been binned for killing the advantage when he just wandered through and obstructed Pyrgos to kill the play. But the number of times the likes of zander F or Jamie R got told to leave and carried on for another second or so without sanction slows everything done. Refs need to set the stall out first breakdown tell them once and if they dont react pen against.

Blain is excellent young player. He looks a better prospect for fullback. The way we play could be in isolation a lot. Duhan did nothing last week and Darcy had a couple of short runs even when looking for possession. Scotstoun is a fast pitch, but I'm not sure we have the pace. Sau is a worrying player, very strong attack, but erratic defender.
Bennett had a great game in defence last week, hopuing for same in attack this week.

Will be a nightmare fitting it in now.

May well be during 6n?

Not anyones fault, but possibly a bit of thought could have gone into it and move it to MFfield with the next game in April swapped back. Or at least have it on standby and play tomorrow.

They'll need to agree the new date with the TV company, so playing it tomorrow not an option even if sensible in many ways.
