That’s two absolutely terrible kicks from vdW

Was pretty happy with those two quick tries, but the way we put so much pressure on ourselves at the end and let Benetton dominate have put the fear on for the second half.

Of all kinds, barely have the ball and we're not taking it seriously when we do have it, we're not nearly far enough ahead to be as loose as we are

That’s been coming

We have to stop playing the game in that zone

Vellacott, you had a great first half, but when you're 2 points up in the last 5 minutes and trying to clear, a 10m contestable kick is probably not the best option

I thought we’d see Shiel this half

That’s a scunner, but fair play to Benetton, the execution of the drop goal was top drawer stuff

What a shambolic way to lose

Kicking straight out, knocking on under no pressure, going for a turnover with the ref shouting to leave it alone.

We had a lineout on their 10m with 10 seconds to go and we found a way to lose.

There must have been four easy missed touch finders

Some pretty poor performances there. Game should have been sewn up long before the end.

Immelman was very poor today.

And for all the good work in the first half and good last penalty, the half backs lacked control in the game.

Have to agree on those, Immelman hasn't won me over the first few games. A good player in there no doubt, but give Moyano a shot for now.

On the halfbacks, definitely. Need to see more before you can be sure but maybe Kinghorn really is our first choice 10 this season. But can't let other guys off the hook either, it was the forwards who knocked on in the mauls and gave away the penalties near the end that kept the pressure on, nothing any halfback could do there.
