Very sad news.
Do we have room for Ben White given we recently signed Scott Steele (to go along with Vellacott and Shiel)?
Whilst a class player and certainly very much holder of the Scotland No.9 shirt for now not sure how he fits player/budget wise here (or Glasgow for that matter.
Rowe-if he's back fit surely capacity to fit him into our back threee resources with Blain and Hoyland away now.He'd be a great addition

If White came to Edinburgh he'd be the starting 9, he'd be a terrific addition to the squad.

Kyle Rowe was well worth his place in the Scotland tour to South America last year, I don't know what his injury status is but he's been out for almost a year now.

Rory Sutherland is also a free agent now, as far as I'm aware.

I guess it's all down to budget

White would be a great signing but that'd surely sound the death knell for Charlie Shiel.

Perhaps Declan Kidney will be considered for the Head Coach role? Huge experience, might just be the kind of guy we need.

Think White was likely moving north end of next season which is why steele and sheil are on one year deals.

Would be a great addition and i suspect SRU will be keen to get him playing and a bit like Duhan will find the cash if needed. He is very important for Scotland now and can't see space for him at glasgow.

Pretty sad for all involved at LI though, rumours they paid Coleman 900k pa few years ago is just nuts. Governance down south needs properly looked at.
