As usual should be some good match ups, front and back rows, 9s.

Think Glasgow edge it in the centres but our back 3 stronger may depend which get the better service.

Our bench is a fair bit stronger and could be the difference.

Should be a good match up with both teams going full steam on this one! Weather forecast looks reasonable so should see good game of rugby with both teams trying to play rugby these days. Embra might swing it with boot of Healy?

Classic 1872 slug fest not a great match.

Glasgow look more dangerous early on but once we got some possession and discipline did ok.

ashman has been very good.

Should be ahead somehow, but aren't . Got to take chances.

Ffs we got nothing for our scrum dominance

One of Cummings ruck entries was straight out of Irish finishing school torpedoe off feet.

Weather was SteveWalsh but we have to take chances and.be more efficient in red zone.

It looked like we were getting the upper hand for a brief period, but Glasgow definitely deserved that overall.

Outmuscled in the mauls, absolutely no apparent attacking strategy (which, several games into the season, is getting pretty worrying to be honest) and terrible discipline. Ritchie having one of his liability-rather-than-asset days.

Kicking the ball out at the end rather than at least attempting to get up the field for a losing bonus point was a sorry sight to see, frankly - league points are more important than the 1872 aggregate score.

A really disappointing night.

Couldn’t get into rhythm and the yellow killed it

In that weather in that position no way we were going coast to coast, struggled to break the line all match, kick out and dont risk giving Glasgow getting a Try BP, right decision for me.

Glasgow did the very dark arts well, and the ref allowed it.

Lots of late hits, driving well beyond the ball, in from side and torpedo off feet.

Also taking players out that weren’t in the ruck, creating that extra bit of space. As for blocking the kick chase.

Didn’t do enough to win, but we were reffed differently at the breakdown! You could see our players getting frustrated,

Just home from a horrible Scotstoun and the weather was terrible too.

So disappointed at our capitulation. Blame it on the ref all you like, but I think we were very lucky no to lose more players to yellow cards. There was very little energy in defence and our players were every biit as guilty a the 'dark arts' as Glasgow were. I doubt there is a player more adept at this than Ritchie.
When Glasgow brought their subs on the game got away from us in the last 1/4. As far as the 1872 cup is concerned, it's far from and if we play to our potential we can turn it round, however if we continue to lose games that we should be winning it will be no more than a consolation.

A word on Scotstoun. They really are the unfriendliest bunch and the Weedgie sense of humour is sadly missing. The constant shouts of offside or not straight is so tiresome, but the epitome of their 'banter' was singing Cheerio, Cheerio as we left a few minutes early. That along with the result and the booing of Ali Price made for a fairly dreadful night.

Scotstoun cannot be very easy place to play these days. The pitch is tired and sections of their fans ( a noisy minority ) are a pretty toxic lot who might be more at home along the road at Ibrox . Healey didn’t have the best of times in use of possession and seemed out of sorts . The play with Ally Miller out wide was an example of an attack that seems well coached in options within their structure. Edinburgh on the other hand looked too predictable .
