Very similar lineup. Looks like Healy and Watson dropped, as not on the injured list.

Sean Everitt has talked about accountablility and said he woudl make changes. Do we take that as a commentary specifically on those left out?

I would really like to see Connor Boyle given a run, he always looks hungry and aggressive when he plays, hopefully Luke Crosbie can do much of the same.

Sad to say Im not holding out much hope.

Agree on Boyle. Muncaster too will be motivated to kick on . The only rationale I can see for starting Prive is that he has probably had more combination time with Thompson at Glasgow. Suspect Hamish will benefit from a weekend off . We have the players and capabilities to win this .

Ive not got any stats to back it up, but it does feel like selections have tended to pair Price with Thompson and Vellacott with Healy. Possibly to balance kicking and running games.

We do have the players to do much better, but we have been saying that for some time and under different coaching regimes. Like other coaches though, Everitt does need to show he can get better performances from them. From what i see though, it is not so much the individual players, it is the lack of a clear plan, particuallry with the ball, which is the issue. We just seem lost and out of ideas very quickly, which is a coaching issue.

Supporting Edinburgh has always been an exercise in hope over expectation, but it is wearing very thin now.

Healy in the A squad appears to be getting the blame.

I think Price has been poor in general since his switch looks like the classic SRU keep him in Scotland I think budget could be used better elsewhere.

I don't buy keeping pairings they are LawrenceBryce professional players and should be able to learn and execute coaches plans and adapt to players around them.

As dolf says wearing very thin, needs a massive reaction this weekend I want to see proper aggression, if we lose because Stormers are better I can accept that, what won't be acceptable is losing due to lack of effort, attitude or jamesmatthew game plan.

Rugbypass saying strong French interest in taking DVDM . They're not always right, but are probably more hit than miss.

Good result, steady work throughout even if B Whitehouse did his best for a stop start game, but please have a plan B when pick n go isn’t working,
Ben Muncaster deserved MotM but were in the running tonight, fine shift by the 9/10 pairings.

La rochelle would be a good move for him I think, I like seeing scottish players at top clubs. Edinburgh don't get a huge amount of matches out of him generally and when we do don't often make the most of his attacking threat.

We have decent back 3 options (when fit) who would be equally qualified to watch the forwards go through 24 phases to try and score from 5 yards out.
