Proper make or break match, munster beating ulster pretty much ends ulster chance of top8.

Above us Scarlets are away to Lions in SA and Benetton host Glasgow so a chance results could go our way. IF we can win we could sit 8th with a home match v Ulster to end regular season...clutching at straws maybe, damage done earlier in the season with some really poor performances.

I'm usually pretty positive before most games. In fact back testing would suggest too positive! I'm however getting pre-annoyed this afternoon to save me some time later.

Price can LawrenceBryce off to montpellier preferably quicker than he plays away from a ruck.

That is a shoulder charge from the Farrell tackle school ref has got that wrong. TMO should have been more forceful.

The number of technical offences we have been pinged for, dummy throw, not using it, closing the lineout. All virtually never given and yet he does us for all of them. Crazy.

Utter horsehit call for touching a player in the air. It’s almost impossible to compete without doing that. Fair enough it taking the player out but brushing their arm is nonesense.

Just so I’m clear, Mark Bennet is fit and available, but we went with a rookie centre on the bench instead?

Well it wasn't particularly relaxing but a 5 pointer on the road after our usual pish post half time 10 minutes - we'll take that all day long. Watson was immense and showed his value for the 1 year contract extension.

Looks like a win next Friday will see us off to Pretoria to play The Bulls. Cardiff can jump above us with a win in Capetown next week, and Scarlets look like they could also jump above us with a win and either one or two bonus points from their two remaining games, depending on whether we get a 4 or 5 pointer. There is therefore a scenario if Cardiff and Wales knock it out of the park in SA where we still finish 9th but unlikely. All probability is Bulls away (or Leinster away if either one of Cardiff or Scarlets can get results to jump above us). I'd imagine the boys would rather just got to Dublin?

I still don't understand why Charlie Shiel doesn't seem to be rated by the coaches. My guess is that he does stuff based on what's in front of him instead of sticking to the mindless "bash, bash, box kick" plan.

That try by Shiell has been "brewing" for years. One of the most under rated players ever. He's stuck in for about eight years to eek out a few starts then a few dozen matches with only minutes off the bench (often unused) but always looked likely to do something special.Well done Charlie, thank goodness my neighbours were only holiday as we raised the roof during yourv 75 metre dash!
Saved the season and of course now the Ulster match is a big one.In all the talk about playoffs remember that a finish in the top 8 would also give us a Champions Cup spot next season.
