Edinburgh Rugby can confirm that centre, Ben Cairns, will be unavailable for selection for at least 12 weeks following arthroscopic surgery on the knee he injured in the club’s pre-season friendly against Sale Sharks on Friday 19 August.

That's good information coming from EdinburghHQ and although its tough on Ben I think he'll be looking positively towards the next 3 months of rehab as it could have been much worse.
