In the latest edition of Black and Red TV, www.edinburghrugby.org caught up with Simon Webster about his return to action for Edinburgh Rugby.

The 37-times capped flyer, who has suffered achilles problems for several seasons, believes that a spell of specialist treatment allowed him to return to scoring form at the tail-end of last season before enjoying a full pre-season under head coach Michael Bradley.

He said: “It’s been a good summer for me, certainly compared to the last couple of summers. I’ve managed to string to string quite a few weeks of pre-season together which is nice – at this stage of the season if you’re not eating, sleeping or training you’re doing something wrong...
