PRINT AT HOME TICKETS INTRODUCED

Postby EdinburghHQ on Mon Mar 26, 2012 11:36 am

Edinburgh Rugby are introducing a new way for fans to get their hands on tickets bought in advance of matches.

Starting this Friday for the club’s RaboDirect PRO12 game against Scarlets (kick-off 7.35pm), fans can print their match tickets at home using a new ‘Ticketfast’ system.

The scanners which read the ticket barcodes were successfully tested at the club’s recent match against Dragons and will be used for future games, including the club’s Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulouse the following weekend on Easter Saturday.

Will these scanners be used on tickets for the HEC game bought by disabled fans who come into Murrayfield by car and not through the turnstills?

Hi Fullglass gunner,

Yes, scanners will be used for those using disabled parking too.

For the Heineken Cup quarter-final, disabled parking is in the west car park (due to the large broadcast trucks and increased human traffic behind the south stand due to it being sold out).

After parking in the west car park you'll be directed through the Famous Grouse gates where your ticket will be scanned.

Apologies if I have missed this, is there Season Ticket holders parking at the QF?

Also, any update on numbers sold for the game - it would be great to knowhow it is going - it is actually a selling point to non-regulars the numbers that are attending!

I agree. When I've said there's 30K plus already, several waverers have become enthusiastic.

Yep are St's going to be able to use the car park with their badges. Right now I don't see any reason to buy a ST next year. View tonight in the Wanderers was that with a week to go info for the regulars was distinctly lacking for the Q4.
