Stade Francais Game

Postby Stade Francais Fan on Sun Aug 30, 2009 6:35 pm

I am originally from Edinburgh living in Paris and one of the Stade Francais supporters club.

"The Virage des Dieux" is the largest supporters group of Stade and we would like to organise some fun between the two groups of supporters (in Paris and then in Edinburgh in Janruary) for our matches - we were thinking of a "friendly" match between supporters before the "real game" and of course drinks after.....any ideas welcome the idea is to have fun...

Anyone up for it ???

Sounds good. But what is the chat with tickets for this game, does anyone else here know?

Has the stadium been announced now? Last time I checked the HC site said it was still to be confirmed. Any info gratefully received.

As far as we know it will be in our normal stadium Jean Bouin - the only Hcup game that will be played elsewhere is the Ulster game in December and 5 league games in stade de France. If ticket demand is high they may change this but i doubt it.

Not sure about a friendly, but definitely up for beer and would come and watch:lol: Have you got any suggestions for cheapish hotels?

if you try a brand like campanille you can get a room for up to four people for approx 60 euros a night in boulogne billancourt which is about 15 mins walk from our stadium - they are cheap and cheerful !

I've just had an update from Edinburgh Rugby about obtaining tickets for the Stade match in Paris.
It seems that we have to make our own arrangements for ticket and apply to Stade directly.
I wonder when they were going to tell people if I hadn't asked today, very disappointed. :(

I thought I'd read somewhere that the Supporters' club were going to try to organise something?

Hi All

Approx 30 tickets have been requested to date by ER supporters.

Barry (ERSC Chair) is in contact with Stade supporters groups & is arranging tickets, a place to meet up etc.

When he has information, he'll be in touch.

So far we have requests for 35 tickets for the game. They will organise purchase of the rest of the tickets (cost between 12 - 18 euros).

SFSC will book tickets so that all are located together in the same area that they occupy. They are keen to make us welcome and I think all travelling will have a great time.

I'll be back to those who have expresses interest in tickets as soon as I have more info, but want to tie it up this week. If any one else wants tickets, PM me and I'll add you to the list.
