Sorry coming a little late to this discussion as we have been away for a couple of weeks. We haven't got our name on any lists yet but have booked our flights and hotel for Paris. My husband said there was a form on the website but when I looked this morning I can't find anything. Any idea how we can get hold of a couple of tickets?

We'll be at the game on Saturday as well if we need to speak to anyone there.

Thanks

Hazel

Hi Hazel,

I had reserved a couple of the Supporters' Club tickets, which we may not be able to use, so there will probably be spares with the Supporters Club in the area Bazza was talking about.

Also - it looks like John Outterson and I have double-booked, so there definitely will be spares

Guys,

Can we try and confirm exact numbers on Saturday. Can you come up and see me with a list of names against all the tickets you requested so that we can check duplication. If possible can you get to the Clubhouse (Presidents Suite) before the start of the game.

Also, any comments on contributions / donations for tickets (£10 or £15 have been suggested). If we decide I would want to collect money on Saturday also.

Happy to sit in this area - although it's uncovered, and thus at risk from the weather, but it will get us all together in the one place. If you look at the "stade Jean Bouin" section of the SF website (menu "le club", then the "stade Jean Bouin" sub menu, under the plan is an google sattelite view of the ground and some computer generated layouts. My guess is that we will be on the corner closest to the end of the south stand - to the left of the "P" of Paris that's picked out by coloured seats.

This is also the area with the loudest Stade Francais fans - we were at a Top 16 (as it then was) game in December 2004 and they were there in strength - even though it was a fairly minor game (Grenoble). We were in the stand next to them and I remember thinking at the time that it would be a good area to sit if it wasn't dark and raining. This time it's early October and daytime - Paris should still be nice weather-wise by comparison with Edinburgh! Remember that it's a 14:35 kick-off local time - 13:35 UK time.

Barry - sorry for confusion. I have just spoken with John O and we definitely have double booked. I will give you a list of names in the Prez Suite on Saturday.

Don't want to sound all tightfisted Jock, but the tickets we are being gifted are €15, so I'd suggest a tenner is probably more appropriate. That said, I'm not going to argue over a fiver - not even the price of a pint in Paris :D

Very nice gesture by SF and their Supporters Club and we definitely should reciprocate.

Hi there - i am from Stade Francais SC (actually scottish but living in Paris) - we are really happy so many of you will be coming over - you are right this is the area with the "loud" SF fans (actually we are having issues on how to bring our drums to Murrayfield in Jan !!) - This area even if uncovered is where the most fun goes on - it is still 26 degrees here this week so lets hope for sun for the match - you will have bring your voices with you to sing back at us .....

Has anyone told Nick that Stade and the supporters club are doing this with tickets? I am sure he would sort something to help with a reciprocal effort.

Think we have this sorted now.

Tickets will be available for a donation of £10 per ticket. The money raised will go to subsidising tickets for the SFSC fans on the return match.

Could all who have reserved tickets come and see me at the Supporters Club desk on Saturday before the match. I'll collect the money then. We will not get the tickets until the day of the game so we need to make sure we meet up with the SFSC at the bar as outlined in my previous post. I assume you are all travelling either early in the morning (I'll probably see some of you at Prestewick airport on Saturday morning) or on Friday. So we should aim to meet up at the bar at around 1:00pm at the latest (I'll aim to get there about 12:30 and meet up with the SFSC people).

I think we should get contact details of each other so we can communicate when in France; email addresses (if you have mobile email) or mobile phone numbers. Can you PM me with contact details that we can use in Paris and I'll make up a sheet that we can distribute to all travelling (if you don't want it shared then at least let me have a contact so I can make sure we don't leave you behind if your running late).

I'll produce a sheet with all information and hand it out on Saturday so be sure to catch up with me then.

Sorry to come late into discussion, only seen threads now but had already bought 2 tickets via the sru/edin website form. I bought for the "Paris – Uncovered behind posts" section at £13.50, being a bit of a cheap skate. But I can't work out from earlier posts if that equates to the "virage Paris" section that the Edin supporters will be in. It would be good to be with the Edin folks and join in with a bit of a noise, so if anyone knows about the seating arrangements or about any way I could swap tickets to be in the same area, please shout. I'll also aim to meet in the same pub before the game as mentioned earlier. Is there a general plan for a location after the game?

Hingwy,

I'm pretty certain that where your tickets are for is the same part of the ground that ERSC have arranged tickets.
