Decent move for him. Will likely make him an even better prop too. He is still in his prime so hopefully he can kick start things again after what must have been a pretty stressful couple of years.

The Scotsman reporting that Kinghorn in talks with Toulon. Would be sad to see him go, really enjoyed watching him and the way he developed.

Agree with that, running fron the back Blair can make a lot of yards, and can cover another couple of positions other than FB.

Toulouse were brilliant winning top14 tonight. Kinghorn miles more physical in attack and particularly in defence and rucks making the impact someone of his size should. Really hope he brings that to scotland. The move to france a real positive for him.

Not a huge shock, given the clear out that has happened there. Its a shame as the things seemed to go pretty well for the first few years. I still think both he and Macfarland have a lot to offer and I wouldnt be upset if they ended up at Edinburgh.

The timing does beg questions though, he may well have something lined up, depending on where he wants to go with coaching it may be as a head coach rather than assistant.

He could go and team up with Greig in Japan. That would be a coaching combo I’d like to see at Edinburgh in a year or two :)

Ex Edinburgh pro and club players on the move in the English Championship :
Nathan Chamberlain to newly promoted Chinnor. ( Get your money on a last minute penalty at the RAG to give Chinnor their first ever win in the Championship )
Cameron Jones at Cornish Pirates
Think it's already been said that Jake Henry is on loan at Coventry

Also
George Morison at Scottish, from Heriots
Lawson Porter at Chinnor from Heriots
I confess I've no real knowledge of these two and whether they've featured at all in Edinburgh's plans. I believe Porter is Irish ?

Glasgow have signed Charlie Savala.

Looked handy at times for us, with a bit more experience at Saints and a better suited style of play at Glasgow v the kick heavy play he saw with us, could be a good signing for them.

Bit of an FP look forward with three of our players heading to France at the end of the season.
Price is fine at Montpelier but with Cherry and Ritchie heading to Vannes & Perpignan respectively, one or both will be playing their rugby in French Division 2. With 2 games to go in the regular season, Vannes are bottom of the table on 36 points, Perpignan in 13th on 40 points and Stade in 12th on 41 points. Bottom team automatically relegated and the 12th and 13th placed teams play off for the 2nd relegation place. Vannes host 9th placed Pau and then visit 2nd placed Bordeaux. Perpignan visit 8th placed La Rochelle and then host 1st placed Toulouse, while Stade's run in see them at 6th place Clermont before hosting 5th placed Castres.

Feels like Vannes going down while Stade and Perpignan will play off. Not great given Cherry was the surprise package of Scotland's 6N's and Jamie back to his very best in the Scotland shirt.
