You just know that if Kinghorn had missed 2 kicks it would have been the headline.

Mike Blair saying today that Kinghorn, SKinner, Goosen and Bennet are all back training and in contention for Friday.

Unlikely all will be ready in particular Skinner and Bennet, but Goosen and Kinghorn would make a big difference for us. Just hope Boff is ok, we are threadbare in the back 3. Centre too, assuming we wont have Dean, will need to be Scott and Lang, which although both good players is far from ideal.

Hoping for a dry pitch, another wet day will play into their hands of picking big carriers and trucking it up.

Match column for game 2 of the series. May come off as a little negative but I did try to balance it out. Honestly!

Any worries likely with the pitch due to the amount of rain fallen/ing?

Main worry is that it will make for a poor game1 Can't see it helping us but at least the return of Crosbie and Skinner gives us a big more aggression in what is likely to be an arm wrestle.
Never heard of the pitch being waterlogged there.

Just wondered, some roads closed this side of the Forth fields around me waterlogged.

Clearing up now, almost blue sky so if that keeps up I presume no major issue with the pitch.
Looks like flooding on rail network may affect a lot of those travelling though.

it looked like the team who wanted it more won. Which is a worry.

Glasgow also seemed to be more cohesive, with a clearer idea of what they wanted to do, which included nullifying some of Edinburgh's strengths. With plan A struggling, Edinburgh seemed to have no ability to change approach.

The run of defeats is now very worrying and we will drop down the log rapidly as the games in hand are made up.

That was pretty shocking given we had a fairly strong team out and looked to have the game well in the bag at half time.Ultimately well beaten and frankly the scoreline flattered us-amazing how quickly it changed once Glasgow got on top.The backs are starting to look like they were under Cockerill (ie clueless) and with more injuries last night (DVDM and Lang) the Zebre game may prove quite tough given that we are surely looking to rest the likes of Schoemann,Gilchrist and Ritchie before the two big Euro games.
Frankly since the capitulation against Munster we've looked very poor (bar the performance at Saracens which shows the level we are capable of).
Worrying times for Blair given the strength on the squad "on paper".

Once all the other teams have caught up our games played it could look bad for in the league(shield), if the heads go down we could be in for a difficult end to the season.

Defence & discipline let us down again. These have been an issue all season, not just 1872.

There has to be some strong words & stronger actions to resolve these issues... Certain players & coaches need to take a long hard look at their performances.

Spot on - as he faded after a great first half, the game changed.
