Zebre v Edinburgh.

A must win, pretty strong competent squad, we need to go ahead, and then keep driving forward for 80 minutes

A pity mr b whitehouse is in charge, not our best friend.

Awful first qtr, wrong side of SteveWalsh as usual, but we have zero cutting edge.

We’re not playing well. But FFS, you can see why Ben is only a TMO.

Only one side being refereed!

Ok
Fair play. That could have gone either way. I think he got it correct! But why was TMO bringing it to his attention.

Scrapped super 6 because it was a higher standard than pro rugby?

Dean led with shoulder, hit hard and head whiplash suggested it could have been head contact. It wasn't, certainly not clear.

Feel like we say it too often.

So on to the next poor performance!

Not deserved but somehow got the win.
Utterly awful. Some of the handling would have been embarrassing for an U10 team I thought!

Ali Price did not play slow ball at Glasgow , attack was glacial and predictable. Really question how this team is prepped and coached ?

It was pretty eye bleeding stuff. Forwards seemed ok, but the backs were really toothless, even the forwards didnt seem to give us any go forward.

The speed of ball wasnt helped by Whitehouse allowing a free for all at ruck and maul, but we have to adapt to that, h literally told Jamie Ritchie to put more men into the ruck as he wasnt going to help. We really should have picked up on that and made sure we gave Price more of a platform. Albeit some of the issues were due to the time taken to move the ball away.

Wider out, Lang looked like he was interested in going forward, but there was very little else. We seem to have no realy pattern to our attack, no attempt to disguise where the ball is going and we have too many soft loopy passes, no real zip on them. Kinghorn wasnt perfect at 10 and did throw the odd shocker, but his passing had zip and carrying had intent when at 10, we had neither of those things last night

Our best attacking plan was to put the ball in the air and hope Paterson or Boff got it back for us, which effectily worked in the second half, but if thats the plan then we will be in trouble in a lot of games.

Felt a bit sorry for Chris Dean, he looks all at sea on the wing. Interesting we had Ross McCann at the start of the season, he has been training with Scotland, yet Edinburgh had Dean on a wing and Glasgow had Dobie, its doesnt seem like a good use of resources.

For the next game I think we need to make changes in the backs, Bennet back in, Vellacott at 9 and I would be really tempted with Scott at 10.

Having watched game recording with less interruptions from family and visitors I have to agree with some of this. The attack play looks completely disjointed as though it’s a scratch team that hasn’t played much together . Attack coaching and a dreadful performance from Healy are the issues for me . Hewas all over the place .

I too felt sorry for Dean as I believe he can be a much more assertive playmaker instead of parked on the wing on the end of slow ,one dimensional odd moments of distribution. That said his defence was excellent and he protected the morsels of possession he had without delivering any of the razzle dazzle associated to with Darcy or Duhan . He certainly wasn’t at sea and I don’t get the Dobie point.
