Can't afford any more injuries this weekend given we've tralled with a pretty small squad.
Hopefully Tuipolotu,Currie and Muncaster back in the frame for next weekend?
Going to be some test out there in the heat but "on paper" (how often do we say that!) a pretty strong starting lineup. Just need to manage finally to get the ball in space into the hands of our hack three...just a pity Vellacott not starting on the hard ground.

Shouldn’t the penalty have been reversed when Benjie was battered to the ground of the ball.

We have to start winning these 50/50 games, bonkers we keep to trying to muscle over surely back Scott, Graham, VDM or goosen in a 1v1 couple metres out.

As for individual discipline I think they need to start dropping players until they learn some unbelievably dumb penalties.

Surely we learnt last season that we have to start spreading the ball wide if we don't make it over after afew breenges at the tryline?
Equally I thought the ref was a bit harsh late on.the penalties against Ashmann (carded as well) and Graham were pretty pathetic.Ashmann's was like afootballer crumbling down after a gentle tap and Darcy's would likely have been ignored 99% of the time.
And was Vellacott's chip definitely over the line and not carried over? Tv didn't bother to look.A scrum 5 rather than penalty 60 m back could have given us the try to put us two scores ahead.

Really think Graham was so silly. No need to push the opposite winger. Ashman maybe a bit unlucky.
Quite obvious Vellacott's kick had crossed the tryline and how do we know the TMO didn't check. Clutching at straws will not help our situation. Lions will be very tough. We could be winless and propping up the table next week.

We continue to attempt to score tries through defensive walls, ok try a couple of times, or 3 whatever but have a plan to go wide, if not scoring with brute force let’s try guile?
Someone has to watching Benjie for his breaks so we can have back up if he’s not gonna manage the sprint alone, we could have won these two games with a little better luck, yet another so close.

As there was no mention at all on the extensive injury update of Muncaster and Tuipolotu does that suggest that are back in the running for Saturday? Certainly hope so with Tuipolotu given Matt Scott is the only fit centre left.
And I just notice Morris has flown out to cover hooker due to Cherry's injury(as we obviously need to available) but no Cammy Scott so presumably that endorses Tuipolotu's fitness. Bit of a risk though.
