Thanks for that Tigerduck.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I won't be able to go any more. So now I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who could use 2 tickets at £13.50 (or whatever you're prepared to pay) in the aforementioned area?

Hello,

Can someone please tell me the link to buy tickets from the Stade site? I cannot seem to find it.
My Dad and I will be travelling over from Belfast for this match and do not have tickets yet.
I can see from this post that some people are offering tickets but my Dad is a bit of an old timer and would prefer to sit in the stand. If for some reason I cannot purchase tickets from the site then I'll happily buy two briefs from one of you.

Please contact me on 07884 013 959 or leave a post with the link.

Cheers

I don't think you will get tickets through the Club any more but you may be able to get them at the SF web page (www.stade.fr). If you get stuck come back to me (07702 755575) and I'll see what I can do, there have been a couple of drop outs from the tickets I have secured.

For all who are travelling to the game on Saturday in Paris. Those who have their tickets through the supporters club have been emailed (or at least the lead contact in each group has) with details for meeting up. If you have not received this let me know by PM'ing me.

For anyone else travelling, the details of where we are meeting up are noted below for your information;

Meeting up:
SFSC have suggested Les Fontaines, 2 place de la porte de saint cloud, Metro line number 9 station = Porte de Saint-Cloud. The SFSC president will meet us with some others from the supporters club. I suggest meeting from about 1:00pm.

Heineken Cup Game; Stade Francais in Paris;
The following is information for those travelling to the game in Paris on 10th Oct;
We have had discussions with the Stade Francais Supporters club and they have been very helpful. I think we will be made welcome by the fans and they have gon out of their way to help us.
Meeting up:
SFSC have suggested Les Fontaines, 2 place de la porte de saint cloud, Metro line number 9 station = Porte de Saint-Cloud. The SFSC president will meet us with some others from the supporters club. I suggest meeting from about 1:00pm (local time - the game starts at 14:30 I think).

A picture of Les Fontaines will follow shortly to help with finding the place, even if you cant read the signs by 1:00. For clarity, it’s the place with the red canopy. All who are travelling are welcome to join us here but it is essential for those who have got their tickets through the ERSC as we will not get the tickets until we meet up with SFSC at the bar on the day.
Stadium seats:
The tickets we have got through the SFSC and ERSC are in the “virage Paris” section (see map of Stade Jean Bouin Below) they are roughly between where it is written “guichets” and “Rue Claude Farrere” ie along the touch line. This is a seated area. If you have bought your tickets through the club of from SF directly then you can use this to see where you are located.

For those travelling to the match on Staturday, here is a message I received from the SF Supporters Club. Its going to be a good weekend to all those travelling!!

Barry

[i]"Things are all shaping up over here - we will be in the Les Fontaines from about 11h30 onwards - we will be in pink of course - I will watch out for you all anyway and greet anyone in a kilt !

The Fontaines serve food at lunchtime if anyone is hungry after the early start - they do great plates of cold meat etc - and beer of course.

We are going to cordon off an area in our stand for your supporters (as it is normally free seating) if we all walk up from the fontaines together it would be great - it will be at the far right hand side of the stand (when looking at the pitch) but you should plan to get into the stadium not too close to kick off - security can be a pain on H-cup matches (they bring in extra staff and it is always slower).

After the match our supporters always go and greet the players as they come out -not sure who we will be congratulating who on Saturday but lets see! then all head off to the Trinquet which is a bar/ restaurant that is actually owned by one of the Stade Players (Matthieu Blin). After a few drinks we all eat there in the evening the menu is 20 Euros for three courses and includes wine - if any of your lot would be interested in this let us know.

The team nearly always end up in the Trinquet as well so it turns out to be quite good fun."

Spoke to SFSC tonight ion the phone. They are looking forward to our arrival on Saturday. The proposal is for as many to meet up in Les Fontaines (see earlier post for directions etc) and all walk up to the ground together in a very large group (about 5 - 10 min).

I have decided to wear my kilt for the occasion and it would be great to see a few more, the SFSC would like to see that also I think. Anyone up for it?
