Whatever you fancy in the way of food and drink, Edinburgh can provide it. The best guide to eating in the city is The List Eating & Drinking Guide which provides comprehensive reviews of most of the restaurants in the city.
Edinburgh has some fantastic bars. See Edinburgh Pub Guide and Edinburgh Pubs for an overview. Another good site is Beer In The Evening which provides a comprehensive guide to pubs and bars all over the country and all sorts of ways of filtering your search so you can find that perfect bar for you. My favourite though is the Edinburgh Guided Pub Tour, which provides an interactive guide to some of the best bars in Edinburgh.
Close to the ground you have a wide choice - the bar at The Murrayfield Hotel on Corstorphine Road is particularly popular, as is the neighbouring Hampton Hotel. Both these are ideal if you're entering or leaving the stadium from the north-west. From the north-east you can try the Roseburn Bar or the Murrayfield Bar, both on Roseburn Terrace. Of these, only the Roseburn does not serve food.
many of the best bars are to be found in and around Rose Street, Thistle Street and the Grassmarket.
Please remember that smoking is outlawed in all enclosed public spaces in Scotland, including all bars and restaurants.
